Remember skin prep is your best friend when it comes to the perfect makeup look. When your skin is glowing everything else falls into place. Always apply a makeup friendly 50+ Sunscreen under your foundation, this is non-negotiable.
Makeup summer trends lean towards just stepped out of the ocean glow & bronzed skin. Eyes are dreamy in peachy/warm brown & golden tones, with smudged out liner. Here’s my Pro secret no matter how bronzed I do the skin & cheeks; I always pop pink on the apples of the cheeks. Let’s face it know one glows peach naturally.
Think :
- Soft browns/golds/warm sunny shades for eyes
- Soft brown, deep metallic green, even a dark navy-blue liner. Super smudged out
- Glossy peach cheeks🍑 with a pop of pink on the apples & across the middle of the nose
- Fluffy brows
- Soft contours
- Highlight the Middle of the face
- Lips in translucent corals & brown based pinks 💋
Here’s How to Get this Natural Summer Look
EYES
I used the Morphe 35U Glided Desert palette.
You can use any palette with a range of warm brown shades. You’ll use the midtone in your palette as your transition shade. Darker colours are for carving out your socket line & adding depth in the outer V of your eye. Lightest colours in your palette are used for the mobile lid.
For eye primer simply use your concealer or foundation. A soft pencil eyeliner in the shade of your choice, will work great if you set it with an eyeshadow powder in a similar colour.
Eye Primer: P.Louise BASE in shade 2
Transition Shade: a mix of the colours Beaming & 24K Glow to set eye primer.
Socket/Crease Shade: first take Sand Storm to carve out the socket line.
Once you have diffused this with a buffing brush add depth with the shade Getting Warmer.
Mobile Lid Shade: use your index finger to sweep across Serious Shine & add to your mobile lid.
Eyeliner: Zoeva Velvet Love in Shade Metallic Cocoa.
Mascara: Poni Cosmetics, The White Knight.
Brows: Revolution Makeup, Brow Pencil in Light Brown.
COMPLEXION
Skin Prep: Sephora HYA/PGA 2% Hydrating Serum followed by Sephora Matte Moisturizer.
Primer: REVOLUTION PRO Hydra Bright Primer.
Foundation: REVOLUTION Skin Silk Luminous Serum Foundation in Shade F8.
Contour: Sephora Contour Stick in Shade Light to Medium.
Blush: Zoeva Together We Shine Face Palette. Any coral-based blush palette will work perfectly to achieve that summer glow.
Setting Powder: Sage & Willow Translucent Powder.
Setting Spray: Morphe Continuous Prep & Set Mist*.
LIPS
Lip Pencil: Morphe in Shade Love Bite.
Lip Stick: Lo’ eme in Shade Callopie.
Gloss: Lo’ eme in Shade Nxy.
