Get ready for a fun 4–6-hour shoot, including hair, makeup & up to 3 different clothing styles tailored to your personality. Our goal is to capture your essence in the images. Your desires & goals are the blueprint we work from, to create an amazing experience for you. It’s our mission to have you feeling inspired & looking your most beautiful self!
Welcome
We welcome you into the studio with a coffee, tea or mimosa 🥂 then it’s off to hair & makeup. Your hair & makeup design should be a visual depiction of your personality.
Hair & Makeup
If you’re going for an authentic/natural look I suggest soft waves or a textured up-do, something soft & organic. After that more dramatic expression? Smoky eyes, a bold lip & hair styled with volume work really well. Feel free to bring some inspo pics along or email them through to us prior.
The camera picks up any imperfection. I advise clients to follow a ‘cleanse, serum & moisturize’ routine at least 2 weeks before your shoot. It’s important to prep your skin to be the perfect canvas for foundation application. (Looking for tips to keep skin looking youthful, check out my blog on 2 Must Have Products for Women 40+)
Hair is best washed the day before to allow better results for styling.
Your hair & makeup session takes 1 1/2 to 2 hours for more dramatic looks.
Styling Your Shoot
With your glamorous hair & makeup session complete it’s time to have fun picking out your outfits & accessories. Prior to the shoot, Fi will have an in-depth conversation with you regarding your favourite pieces to bring along. Should you need additional choices, Fi’s got your back with a fabulous collection, waiting for you to explore.
Get Ready for Your Close Up 📸
We create a friendly, encouraging atmosphere to assist you to relax into the shoot. We want you to have fun & enjoy every second. Remember these images will give you lasting visual memories of how stunning & confident you truly are. It’s a fun uplifting experience, celebrating your uniqueness & style.
After the first 2 fashion changes we break for a light lunch, which is included in the price. With more bevvies if you’d like them☕
After lunch we commence the second part of your shoot. I change your makeup up a little (if this is something you’d like) & ensure your hair is still looking great.
When Do I See My Images?
Fi will reveal the initial images on the day. She’ll go through them to view the best shots & help you pick your favourites. You will receive the finished images within 2-3 weeks as an online gallery download.
